With a decade of dedicated experience in the dynamic world of film and TV editing, I am a seasoned professional who has contributed to a diverse range of projects. My portfolio includes TV commercials, both scripted and unscripted short films, and feature-length films. In addition, I have a proven track record in crafting compelling taster tapes for television shows, strategically designed to captivate commissioners of major TV networks. I possess a multifaceted skill set, encompassing not only editing but also color grading, and the creation of visually stunning graphics and motion graphics, further enhancing the storytelling impact of my work.

I have been editing since I can remember. Started using editing softwares for creating content for friends at the age of 12. Then moved on to editing and producing animations for underground Demoscene  competitions in the end of the 90s. Then started helping independent bands to make music videos - including filming and editing, which helped me getting corporate film jobs and eventually lead to editing/grading award winning short and feature films.

Having studied hardware and computer programming helped me understand technical specs, compression methods and different formats on a very high level which enables me to deliver the project in the highest possible quality. I have also researched and studied DCP mastering and developed my own tool for creating DCP drives for independent filmmakers and students for the fraction of the usual price. I have created close to a hundred DCPs to many happy clients.

My skillset

Proficient using the Adobe Cloud. My go to tools are Premiere (for editing), Audition (for sound mixing), After Effects (for anything moving and basic vfx / keying / rotoscoping) and Photoshop (for GFX design). I quite often receive vector assets for animation via other software like Illustrator or Inkscape)

For a great looking grade I always use Davinci Resolve Studio. That tool paired up with my Davinci Decklink 4K card and 10-bit calibrated monitor can guarantee the highest quality and best looking result.

Where Media Encoder stops working that's where ffmpeg comes to play. I can convert any type of media that's not recognised by the Adobe Suite to a fully compatible format with this amazing tool. It's power is so underrated but its just a must have in my field.

Creating DPPs for transmission or DCPs for cinema screenings are also a service I provide.
